The bi-polar Ace of Spades was really starting to piss me off. It was an 'Aces High' week and he was lording it over everyone else in the Suit, bigtime.

Looking out the window, he couldn't quite place the season. For that matter he couldn't place where he was. That was when he realized, he didn't even know who he was. He stepped backwards towards the bed and sat down. Something felt warm and wet beneath him. He turned to see the bloody lump on the bed. The only thing that was visible was a hand. A petite hand, with a matching ring to his own.

As his attention shifted from the ragged stump of his forearm to the matching hand on the floor, all he could think to articulate was, "Hunh... looks like I dropped something."

Well, I think it all started when Father refused to take me to the fair. I had been a very fragile child then.....
