Draconean Children of Anomander Rake

Your thoughts, cause the info on them is wishywashy at best.
Is Phael the daughter of Drake son with his mother Envy?
....

Your views on them. (I am referring to the two who can take Draconean form and are suppossedly his children by Envy or so, not to his dozens supposed grandchildren on avalli island)

Re: Draconean Children of Anomander Rake

That Draconeon tree is greatly flawed though, but those two are the ones i mean (under Rake and Envy).

Are these two really Rake children? Are is the daughter actually the daughter of Envy with her son by rake.

And is the son really a child of Envy?

Yes, it's drawn from Baruk's pov, so obviously isn't infallible.

Theres a huge thread about this over at malazanempire - maybe it would be useful to you to look through it

Re: Draconean Children of Anomander Rake

Most likely because we haven't met them, or had any other information about them. Any reason you doubt that Rake and Envy had a son?

Re: Draconean Children of Anomander Rake

Well one of the possibilities is that the male child is a child of Rake but not of Envy and that the female child is a child by Envy with the malke child.

(there names are difficult)

Re: Draconean Children of Anomander Rake

Yes, I understand what you're trying to say, but why? Rake, Envy, Brood and Osserc spent several centuries travelling together, why would two of them not hook up?

[general world-history spoilers be ahead! Bonehunters readers only]

Tiam/Mother Dark can have children with other parents, because it(she, maybe) is the elder god. The creator of darkness and light. It doesn't give birth to them, they kill it and drink it's blood, and become soletaken elient. It is then reborn again.
Or somethng like that, it's still all up in the air. Neither Rake or Envy could do that, they're Ascendants, but not Elder Gods.
