A Party Invitation: Celebrating 30 Years of 2000AD

We would like to take this opportunity to invite the participants of chronicles-network.com to join us on this evening in raising your glass to Tharg the Mighty!

We at The Cross Kings have many friends that are fans of comics and graphic novels – both the reading of them and the creating of them – and have a basement packed full of comic memorabilia. With this in mind, we thought it only right to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the fantastic 2000AD.

On the evening of Wednesday 28th February we will be having a fancy dress party. The theme: Fiction & Fantasy. It will be free entry, music from 8pm ‘till late with a free bottle of champagne for the best dressed and the owner of the oldest copy of 2000AD in the building. We may also run a small auction.. if you’re very lucky..

It says that in Wikipedia too - but I have one here dated February 28th. And this copy should be correct!
