Re: Howdy everyone!

Grombles in, late, muttering Shakespeare "if a man were porter at hell's gate, he would have old turning the key"
Welcome in. Yes, I should have welcomed you before now (and there are others waiting; how did I manage to drop so far behind?
And you have a post in critiques, too, that I have not yet fully perused (read it, yes, but not analysed) and it's not the only one awaiting attention.
And there are those here who expect me to do the work I'm paid for; I ask you, is that reasonable? So it'll be hours before I can get serious things done.
Just to round things off, my mouse is playing up, jumping around and double clicking, and generally trying to draw attention to itself, rather than being its usual rodential co-operative self.
Too late for warnings, I suspect; if you've not yet been picked off by one of the resident boggles, you're probably learning where they are - perhaps the "don't accept peanuts" one"?
I'm sure it's too late to explain to you how addictive this place is, or the amount of time you're going to was - spend here.
Must go, people to welcome, stories to mutilate, data to transcode…
Welcome again.

Re: Howdy everyone!

Hello, welcome to Chrons! It's a bit late, but no less of a warm welcome.

I sympathise with your writing plight - I attempt to write fantasy fiction myself, but with little success so far. I find that I have no problem starting, but can't keep the momentum going, so in fact I have four books, two scripts, and three fan-fic stories on the go just now! Oh, how I hope you have more luck and success than I have.
