Impossible to put into words how jealous I am

Going to try and catch Emmy the Great in either Liverpool or Manchester sometime in February, but I'll happily trade you.

Re: Concerts

Attended two excellent concerts a few weeks ago at Royal Festival Hall: Charles Dutoit conducting Philharmonia Orchestra played Mahler's Symphony No.1 and with the Dutch virtuoso Janine Jansen played Beethoven's violin concerto; Vladimir Jurowski conducting LPO performed a brilliant Tchaikovsky's 6th symphony and Helene Grimaud played Rachmaninov's 2nd piano concerto.

First class performance and I must say it again the audience in London are the best behaved! Except people clapped like crazy after the 3rd movement of Tchaikovsky's 6th but that's only because the exuberant movement was done too good! Here is the Karajan version:

Wow, lucky you! I'm as jealous as Simian.

I hope they haven't changed too much and that you enjoy the show.
