Wink Cylon/human

Was it just me or did anyone else go "ahhhhh I see now" after watching BSG on Monday. I was getting so confused on the character Boomer and deciding which one was human or cylon.

all of the boomers are cylons, as far as i know. but they don't know it. there are twelve models of human cylons, but seemingly unlimited copies. six looks set to want to breed. which could be very interesting. i am also waiting to see if they are cyborgs, or human clones brought up to the cylon way of thinking.

something else that i am waiting to find out, in the original, the cylons were a separate race, who took offense to the colonies forays into space. they had a definate heirachy. the species itself was born with one brain. as the member progressed to adult hood it obtained a second brain. certain memebers, who showed real potential, then received a third brain. they became the council members. and it was only when they were in possession of the third brain that they realised what qualities were needed for it.
Now they are the children of men, and i wonder if that folk lore will be kept?

I was very suspicious of the series, but it's now growing on me.

It was a bit interesting that the twelve colonies have a culture quite reminiscent of the American one...

They could have kept the Eqyptian motif and added other ancient cultures.
left out such things as last callsigns and just kept the original names
Some things they could have kept from ancient cultures such as family names from the matrilineal line.

I liked the idea of the changed (updated) Battlestar Galactica, so was always willing to give it a chance...

I like the ideas of the Human Cylons... The 12 clones for each "person"... I can appreciate that their brains are mechanical - and at the point of death, the consciousness is transmitted to another body... Though when this was mentioned in the pilot, I thought that when the transmittion took place, another clone was activated - and not just walking around anyway...

I also like the idea that the Boomer on Galactica is a "sleeper" and doesn't know she is a Cylon... Though she must suspect, but her programming doesn't allow her to act against herself...

But she did sort of when they found water and she managed to break free of those mental bonds. It is interesting to think that this is how she will go on and maybe help the humans in the future once she acknowledges the fact that she is cylon.
