The waiting is over....we can now announce Phase One of our plans for Gatecon over the next 18 months. Not quite world domination but we are most definitely expanding.

Your favourite convention is getting bigger and better, and boldly going where no Gatecon has gone before!!

We are planning not one, not two, but THREE Gatecons for 2007-08.

The Renaissance Reading Hotel, UK

This will be the most intimate Gatecon yet, with a maximum 220 tickets sold, so an amazing opportunity to become part of the Gatecon family and spend quality time with the guests.
Reading is the ideal location for the event, away from the expense and the noise of London or airport venues, yet a mere 25 minutes by train from Heathrow. Full details about the venue, along with convention room rates and how to book your accommodation will be posted shortly, along with general information about Reading.

Gatecon expands yet again and is now visiting the home country of our third organiser Allan Gowen. The Legends Hotel is a truly amazing venue and we are announcing it this far ahead to allow you to plan properly for what will certainly be a memorable holiday to a beautiful stretch of Australia's Gold Coast.


Gatecon CA - The Family Reunion

Gatecon triumphantly returns to its original home venue for the tenth Gatecon. We are planning an all-out spectacular to commemorate this milestone convention.


Ticket sales for all three events will be staggered over the coming months, although we will have a very limited edition World Traveller SuperPass available from day one giving you a discount if booking for all three conventions (giving entry to all three worldwide conventions, front row seats, priority entry to the autograph and photograph sessions).

Gatecon is proud to announce our next guest to Gatecon UK.

Carmen Argenziano (Jacob Carter/Selmac) will be joining us in Reading for the second Gatecon UK in October. Carmen joins Colin Cunningham in the lineup for our UK event.

Legends
Our good friend Paul Brown from Legends Memorabilia has just let us know that Legends will be a main feature at all 3 upcoming Gatecon's (UK, OZ & Canada). Paul will be bringing a collection of Stargate memorabilia, Props and Costumes to each convention.

Convention updates
We will soon have a few updates to the Gatecon website going up within the next few weeks. These will include booking forms for Accomodation at Reading, and also the Volunteer form.

We will also be soon releasing tickets to our next exciting event "Gatecon OZ", being held on the beautiful Gold Coast in Australia. We will also be announcing our first guests for Gatecon OZ.
