| Re: butterflies... Well, after reading the first page of this topic, I got rather depressed, and stopped. Anyway, I was in one relationship before, while I was 16, it lasted about 8 months, but was a long-distance thing. I lived in the middle of nowhere and she lived in London. Our families had known each other since before either of us were even born, so we already knew each other really well - maybe that was a bad thing, because it did get boring - there was nothing to talk about properly, we already knew it all. In the end I messed that one up, and I've been single ever since. Anyway, that was three years ago, and now I've suddenly found myself with a girlfriend again, almost without doing anything. Scheming friends do come in useful sometimes This has all happened very quickly, which I think could be a bad thing, but I definately like her (though tastes in books may have to be addressed - Terry Goodkind *shudder* ) and I'm told she likes me too - which I kind of guessed from the enthusiasm at the club on thursday night![]() I guess the key is going to be taking it slowly and seeing what happens. We don't know much about each other yet, which will make conversation easier, at least |
