Botanical Help Needed!

Okay, this may seem like a strange request, but I was just wondering if anyone could identify this flower for me:

It's been driving my girlfriend nuts trying to find out... And now she just has to know! So any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Re: Botanical Help Needed!

I've seen it somewhere before, Cul - Need some sort of size reference, and a piccy of the leaf and/or the whole plant would help....

oh. and is it wild or from a greenhouse/indoor.

Looks like a type of lily. Maybe that will help you narrow it down.

Re: Botanical Help Needed!

The flowers would be no more than seven or eight centimetres from petal to petal, Pyan. I'll see if I can get a picture of the leaves, but I can tell you it comes from a smallish shrub, in the wild. The wilds of suburbia, that is...

Re: Botanical Help Needed!

That's right, I forgot to mention it had eaten three of my friends and a bloke who came to the door selling Wonder Knives - would that have helped?
