Pate, Gregor & Loras....alive or dead? (lol..or undead?)

Pate's quite obviously dead, but the Faceless man whose impersonating him deserves a mention....whats he up to?
Must he be there for an assasination? If yes, why'd he need that key?

Gregor..i remember Qyburn buggin' Cersei about the decorations on the box his head was supposed to be presented to Doran Martell in, but is he truly dead? I remember Qyburn saying something about having a unkillable warrior to Cersei when she was held captive.

And Loras...whatever became of him?
He almost burned to death, lost his looks, but i dont think he died...

Gregor is alive. At least most of him Kiburn says something like this "Blood magic is darkest type of sorcery. Some say the most powerfull too." He was using blood from papeters,Fallisa etc... to bring him to life.

Faceless Man (Jaqen?) probably needs the key for murder because that is the key that opens "all the Citadel door". Or just wants to get some rare book to read?

It is possible that Loras wasn't in his armor. Has anyone seen him fighting with mace? I'm not sure.

I don't know why but I don't think Loras is all messed up either.

I've said this before, but I hold out hope for a hideously scarred Loras to emerge bitter and darkened, and become the next Hound-like figure
So, a metaphorical death of his innocence and goodness?
Anyways, I am growing steadily more curious about him.

I had the thought, too, that Loras wasn't injured, and that the news of such was a ruse. I'd have to reread to have another think about it, though.

Wel actually yes, we see him in the book with it somewhere else as well, i think it is on the training grounds.

I dont think he will die, otherwise he would not have worded it so.

What? Replace the Hound with Loras! Oy Vei!

Loras will find solace and refuge with the Sparrows and will raly to Dany's side as will House Tyrell, the last house along with the Martells to bend the knee to King Robert.

Talking of the Hound, I don't think he is dead.

Last time we saw him, Arry left him lying under a tree, feverish with a leg wound that you'd think would kill him.

The head priest at the small monastry/sancturay type place near Saltpeter who was a 'great healer' said he found the hound dead and buried him, leaving his helm on the grave which he regreted when Rorge started wearing it.

However, and here's where I get suspious ... first the war horse, no one could hadndle it except the hound, yet there it is in the stables ... second and more revealing, as Brienne is walking through the sanctuary grounds, there's a brief description of large brother digging a grave. This large brother also happens to have a limp.

My theory is the head of the sanctuary, found the hound, healed him and brought him back, and (for now at least) the Hound who had wanted to die, wanted Arry to finish him, has come to terrms with life by becoming a brother of the seven.

Just a theory.

He wanted to die because Martell killed his reason to life (The Hound wanted to personaly kill Gregor). But if Gregor is alive there is no reason for Sandor to become brother of the seven. He will hunt Gregor to hell and back.

Gregor........undead
Hound........ alive (pious of now, he WILL kill undead Gregor)
Pate.......... Jac'quen (sp)
Loras......... alive and pretty (he could never replace the Hound)

We have a tragic burned anti hero. Loras will be something else before its all over.
