Re: Where is the Spider? Im familiar with the old murder mysteries and Ive seen the movie Clue (not that you asked), and if George pulls that stunt I think the series would suffer for it so Im not ready to believe. If you think Bronn is a bird, the you have to believe Varys is at the Stokeworth Estates....close enough to KL to get back there but far enough away to escape notice....thats an aside not really important. Anyhow I concede the possibility that Bronn is Varys' man, just not the probability. And for what its worth, I dont want it to be that way.

Re: Where is the Spider? I think it unlikely Bronn was in Varys pockets from the get go, however i do not see it unlikely that once both men met in the Red keep that (after Tyrions capture thus making it so that Tyrion could not back him higher then varys might and Cersei could) that they came together. After all Bronn is an opportunist, why not help Varys out, after all the queen probably has a dislike for him already, so what is the worst that could happen for Bronn by backing Varys from that point on.

Re: Where is the Spider? Well, I found Bronn to be quite secretive in his new position as Lord. Especially in turning away and ridiculing thta other Lord who went to deal with him in the name of the Queen Regent (can't think of who it was - some blowhard). Anyway, is he hiding something or someone?

Re: Where is the Spider? And died. Cersei than gave Falissa to Kyburn for his experiments. When Cersei got captured he told her that her fighter is ready.(Gregor Clegany anyone?)

Re: Where is the Spider? Bronn holds power in Stokeworth. He is starving Lady Tanda Stokeworth (?) to death. Lady Falyse is being murdered by Qyburn's torture. So only Lady Lollys stands to inherit Stokeworth... her husband is Bronn. All hail Ser Bronn of Blackwater, Lord Stokeworth. Here's a thought... how much of Vary's network (if Bronn is a part of it) does Bronn know about? If Varys has fled to the Free Cities, who is his deputy running his spy network? Would/could Bronn co-opt agents for his own ends?

Re: Where is the Spider? Really?? I must have missed that bit. Geez, my soft spot for Bronn just evaporated. I mean, I knew he was a cold hearted bastard, but to torture an old woman like that is something new for him.

Re: Where is the Spider? Since when is Cersei a good judge of character. Our favourite cruel mercenary turned Lord may surprise us all. And I thought that lady Falyse was pretty much a dimwit to begin with and only speculated that Bronn was mistreating Lady Tanda.

Re: Where is the Spider? What do you mean Cersei not a good judge of character!!!! Young=good, old =icky. I don't see any holes in her logic. Bronn probably has someone attending lady Tanda, after all what is the point in being responsible for her death. It's not like he has take care of her himself, he has people for that now. She is an old lady with a broken hip, she is probably a goner anyway. If he provides aid he looks good to his half wit wife and the people of his household. Why starve an old lady and make enemies when you can just let nature run its course. Bronn's to smart to risk getting poisoned by kitchen help just to off her sooner. Granted he did kill the old lord Stokeworth but that was a power play. Killing someone that challenges you to a duel is alot different than starving an old lady. I am not saying he has gone soft either, I am just saying there isn't a profit in it for him. Even if she recovers he is the power of the house now.

Re: Where is the Spider? Bron made it look like accident in first place. He won't wait any longer. In one of Cersei's POVs it is said that he surounded himself with mercenaries. Who will tell that Tanda hasn't died from broken hip?
