hello! my first post! you would not believe the arguments in my house after we found this website! My older sister, mum, dad and i are all massive gemmell fans (although, we didnt know he was dead until a fortnight ago ).We all had different opinions on this topic. We thought it depends on the book. They are all bloody deadly! Helikion with the Naptha on his enemy ships? That was pretty nasty! Skilgannon, "The Potter" (i can't remember his real name!), Druss, Tenaka, Rek, Waylander, Shannow, Angel, Ulric. A lot of his characters are deadly. If we put them all in a locked room together, i think all we'd find is a bunch of bodies inside. I dont think we could say, for sure, that one indiviual is on the top.

Re: Gemmels most dangerous/deadliest character Welcome Kania , as you can see there is as much disagreement here as there is in your house, all in good fun tho - just put my oar in for another vote for Waylander : )

Re: Gemmels most dangerous/deadliest character Hey sister mine (I'm Kania's elder sister, so woot for me, lol) I reckon Skilgannon, Decado the Reborn, Druss or Jon Shannow would prolly have the best chance of surviving the whole'locked in a room' scenario because: a) I like Skilgannon the best, so if he died, I'd just take him to see Ustarte, coz she's a great healer. b) Decado the Reborn is just a little bitty bit crazy, so he would have the whole bloodlust-not-noticing-any-wounds thing going for him. That and those weird potions and poisons his boss (i forgot his name ) gives him.c) Shannow has guns, so he could just stay away from anything sharp or pointy. And he's also a mite crazy. d) Druss has that great fecker of an Axe, Snaga, so not too many people would be too inclined to go near such a massive, far-reaching weapon. Especially since Druss doesn't stop moving. He'd mow them down like a field of wheat! Last edited by Valteri : 23rd May 2007 at 05:05 AM. Reason: I accidentally forgot Druss. *is ashamed*

Re: Gemmels most dangerous/deadliest character druss - easily gemmell seems to make a lot of invicible characters that are tough to seperate. However Druss is the only character where gemmel has basically said that kill him, his opponent would have to be willing to die himself, due to the nature of the way he fights. I guess you could say the same for Rek actually and Waylander could just shoot him from a distance arghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!..... impossible question

Re: Gemmels most dangerous/deadliest character i would reckon that if we'rre going for the deadliest it would have to be waylander...... and i dont mean that he would beat all of the others in a fight or anything just that he is the most deadly, after him would be shannow. best swordsman has got to be the original Decado

Re: Gemmels most dangerous/deadliest character Best killer is Shannow. He is ruthless and master to shoot when the opponent least expects it. Since you have to faster than his guns and his awesome reaction. I would say Shannow is the most deadliest. Specially in people like Druss,Waylander wouldnt have a chance against his modern weapons.

Re: Gemmels most dangerous/deadliest character Waylander and Kaelin are both wickedly resourceful killers and definately the most deadly. What about Serbitar or Samildanach for the best swordsman though? Gemmell made some pretty impressive comments about Serbitar in action and in theory Samildanach was untouchable in his prime.

Re: Gemmels most dangerous/deadliest character Deadliest is waylander assuming were not talking about a fair fight. He would just take you down when the time was right. Best swordsman immediately makes me think of decado although it is a very tough call. I am suprised nobody has mentioned culain though.
