But I must admit I've probably had more fun and more posts regarding the tourney than anyone else! Tiggers are so good at jumping to irrational and ridiculous conclusions. You gave me an uprecedented new forum for launching ito wild speculation and unsubstantiated supposition... and for that I must thank you! It was a bfd! |

(until Dance of Dragons comes out & we realise that knights on horseback vs dragons is a fairly 1-sided affair. Swords schmords) Oh, and a big thank you from me as well Wiggum. I'm never sure how these things will work out. I would have had my money on it starting off well but then dying a death as people's favourite characters were knocked out. Good job I only bet with my life & health and not my money  |

| Re: SoST: FINALS: Arthur Dayne vs Barristan Selmy I was a bit torn in my decision, but in the end I went with Dayne. If someone is mentioned long after their demise, then I think it proves that they had a very significant impact on the world. Thats why I chose Dayne. I think Selmy will have a much bigger role in the future books, and I think his biggest accomplisments have yet to come. I think he will be a major figure in the story as it pertains to Daenerys, and will probably even be spoken of with more reverance than Dayne in the future. At the moment though, it seems Dayne is the knight of legends, whether justified or by exageration. |
