Question on self publishing

If you publish through something like Lulu is there ever a chance of getting the same book published by a larger publisher in the future? Im only 17 and dont know much about publishing.

Re: Question on self publishing

Personally speaking, I'd suggest trying the major publishers first. In general terms, it's extremely unlikely (though not impossible) to go the route you suggest. Your book would need to be a HUGE success for anyone to take notice.

Re: Question on self publishing

Jeremy Robinson did very well with his first novel, self published. He managed to get and agent and a deal for his next novel, and the ones following, but the last thing I heard he still hasn't sold the first one into a traditional deal.
