Re: Favorite Christmas Song/Album My favourite song is "Just Like Christmas" by Low. I can't stand all the cheesy/traditional stuff - mainly because it's been played to death longer than I've been alive. Ooh, and "Christmas Song" by Dave Matthews Band. Great song that I can play badly on the guitar.

Re: Favorite Christmas Song/Album I tend to get annoyed by hokey lyrics, but like Christmas music overall anyway, so I assembled my own personal album of instrumental versions of the "classic" carols (except one in Latin, which counts well enough because I can listen without being conscious of what they're saying) from a half-dozen different sources.

Re: Favorite Christmas Song/Album I've been listening to Sarah McLachlan's Wintersun album, which is pretty good. I can't stand those awful Christmas pop compilations any more, though I liked some of the songs when they first came out. Here's a few alternative Winter/Christmas songs: Grey Eye Glances - Our Own Place And Time (A Christmas Song) Grey Eye Glances - Snow Kate Bush - December Will Be Magic Again Loreena McKennitt - Seeds Of Love Loreena McKennitt - Snow Sarah Mclachlan - River Vienna Teng - The Atheist Christmas Carol

Re: Favorite Christmas Song/Album For me, it's not Christmas until I've heard Slade - Merry Xmas Everybody, Wizzard - I wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day, and The Pogues with Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale of New York. Only after I've heard those three songs in a day is it officially Christmas!
