Hi Everyone,

This December 18th is Michael Moorcock's 65th. I would like to invite his fans from this forum to take part in a secret audio art project which will be a present for Mr M's Birthday.

You don't have to be a musician or anything, all you need is a microphone. For details of the project, please click on my signature.

That's actually a pretty good idea - it'll be very interesting to see what comes up.

Great idea!!! It's been ages since I've composed anything but I'm tempted to put together a Stormbringer Suite for Solo Bass.

Please do! We have had such a variety so far and we always enjoy receiving new sounds, music or voice.

Well, I hope I'll come out with something. I've spoken to a couple of other musicians and hope to meet them this weekend to throw sounds at each other. Moorcock's works, particularly the over-arching concept of the Multiverse and the Eternal Champion have fascinated me for a long time, I'd love to be able to respond with something that speaks of how much Moorcock's works have entertained me and made me think, and more importantly, dream.

A friend of mine from another forum has already contributed a piece to this tribute - he goes by the handle Dead Air. Looks like I have to race to catch up!!!

Ah yes, Dead-Air was our first contributor I really liked his piece.

It's great how so many of Michael Moorcock's fans want to give something back to a writer who has touched their lives in so many different ways. I hope you have fun with your recording.
