His fantasy are historical fantasy in real history and not in invented worlds that you might like if you like historical fiction.

IMO he is at best with his fantasy.

Thanks. I'll see what I can find. I do like historical fiction. I'm reading John Jakes' Kent Family Chronicles in tandem with Lee Singer's Blackjack (sf). My speaking gig is in a bookstore tomorrow. Maybe they'll have some of his stuff by now. They only have used stuff so it's hit and miss. They had nothing by him last time. I can check the library on Monday failing that.

I ordered a bunch of titles from the library and I picked up one at the library's used book store. It's Anubis Gates and I'm liking it a lot so far.
