Bitter? Me? Certainly not...
Oh, that's nasty! I would be so angry if that happened! That's such a shame. I suppose you've still got the TV version, but of course it's nothing like going to a premiere. Kick up a fuss and demand that Terry Pratchett come and apologise to you! (nothing to do with him, of course, but it would make you feel better at least!)

Re: The Hogfather

I think this link at Amazon shows they're going to be releasing it on DVD sometime (at least in the UK/Europe)... woohoo (for those of us without modern technology).

As for Bilious, he's played by Rhodri Meilir, who looks to be playing Rhodri (can you be name-cast?) in this year's Christmas special of Doctor Who (for those who follow such things...)

Re: The Hogfather

He's actually going to be in it, the man himself. I did not expect that. He's playing the toymaker.
I thought he'd be a good Albert, but there you go.

Re: The Hogfather

He's probably too busy writing to play a major part

I was a bit disappointed that death's face wasn't even slightly animated, but as i do it in my head when i read it shouldn't be too hard to translate that onto the screen

I read an interview in Saturday's "Daily Mail" magazine (UK newspaper) with Terry where he says he can't really act so it's about the best part for him, little to do and very small on one side.

Re: The Hogfather

Weell, I suppose he can't be perfect at everything. It will be great to see him at all, and I will forgive him for bad acting and not poke fun like I would if it was anyone else. Promise.

Re: The Hogfather

It is a small role really (not quite the full sandwich) a bit more than a cameo though.
