Re: Who are you in the Cthulhu Mythos

You are NYARLATHOTEP, the mind, spirit, physical representation of and messenger to, the Outer Gods. Often manifesting in human form, Nyarlathotep is a great manipulator of humans, bending them to the will of his masters.

In true form Nyarlathotep is a 55' tall monstrosity with a giant trunk-like proboscis. But he prefers the guise of a human, often appearing as a rich, well educated man, bending people to his will and towards their ultimate downfall.

Thanks for posting this Nesa! This was great fun, but somehow I was expecting to be saddled with this profile:

You are HERBERT WEST, scientific mastermind, social maladroit and med school drop-out. Unconventional, brilliant and a born maverick, you and your methodology are misunderstood by the Board of Regents . . . . and every other established scientific institution in the civilized world as well as members of the death services community.

Intense, reckless and a bit on the obsessive/compulsive side, nevertheless you exert a certain dashing charisma over others who share your singular gifts and sensibilities: namely, insane asylum escapees, megalomaniacs, professional grave robbers and freshman art school students. Tall, dark and demented you prefer your friends like you prefer your coffee: cold, dark and with a bitter edge.

Am rather fond of Mr. West myself. A remarkably attractive and intriguing gentleman. I am glad however to see another messenger. The great crusade could always do with more messengers.

You're welcome Curt.

As always, I'm delighted at how much we share in common.

I don't know about you, but like many politicians I'm just a bit weary of having to tuck away my primary tentacle and third leg when Congress is in session, my presence is needed at a GOP convention rally or to give interviews on the Fox News network . . . . We may be currently out but never down. We shall await our time with infinite patience when the stars are in the correct alignment, to once again serve our Supreme Master, the blind, idiot god Azathoth! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Re: Who are you in the Cthulhu Mythos

Am now quite curious about what Azathoth would be in the quiz

Quite a few suggestions here about what Yith might be able to do with our beloved world leaders. I think a weekend away from it all at the Mountains of Madness might be a good idea really.

Indeed, this wearing of a mundane form is rather tiring. It's not half as agile or limber and you can't stretch out in puddles of sunshine or stalk prey properly. However, our time will come ...

Re: Who are you in the Cthulhu Mythos

Hmmm. I'm not sure if this means I'm getting better at this, or worse:

You are AZAZOTH, the blind, mindless chaos at the centre of the universe, writhing in a constant dance to the weird cacophany of alien music piped by its servants. It is believed that Azazoth may be the origin of all matter in the universe. Those foolhardy enough to use ancient ritual to summon Azazoth into their presence have been promptly blasted into insanity, or to their death.

It means that you're either extremely confused and therefore need to make an appointment with Herbert West or you have several personalities fighting for space in you. Either way the prognosis is really not good at all. You're doomed.

Hmmm. As the Messenger has said recently, Azathoth is not stable in shape, so.... Hmmmmmmm. Talk about having an identity crisis!

Re: Who are you in the Cthulhu Mythos

You are a DIMENSIONAL SHAMBLER, a clawed, faceless dweller in the spaces outside of time and space. Shamblers materialise swiftly on the physical plain to seize their prey, before vanishing back into the nowhere from whence they came.

Sorted.
