Imperial Assassin Reviews

As I suspected, first in the queue is Dwndrgn here at Chronicles - thanks for that. You can find Dwndrgn's review at:

http://www.chronicles-network.com/fo...tml#post750350

If anyone spots any others around the web during the coming weeks, please do post links here - I'd like to collect as many as I can for my own website page. Thanks.

Hot on Dwndrgn's heels is this review by Rune:

Many thanks, Rune. Glad you enjoyed the story.

Re: Imperial Assassin Reviews

Mark,

Not a review per se, but I was just looking something up on the Blue Peter website for my son, and noticed that Imperial Assassin is one of the 5 books they've chosen as their top reads for November! Visitors to the website can even vote on which of these 5 books is their favourite...

In case anyone wants to see, the webpage is:

BBC*-*Blue Peter*-*November Top Five

Now that's really cool! Go on, people, give it a boost. I'm a vote behind 'The Worst Witch Saves the Day' at the moment. It would be a rare event for me to actually win something!

Re: Imperial Assassin Reviews

Ack someone else must have voted for the Worst Witch...Still one behind, despite my vote (can we vote more than once? )
It may because I'm just more familiar to Imperial Assassin than the other books, but does anyone else think that IA looks much more exciting and dramatic than the others? And when you the compare descriptions...well, there is no comparison!

Re: Imperial Assassin Reviews

Thanks, guys (and girls if you prefer!). I get the feeling that over the month I might struggle to find enough votes to win, but it will be fun to see how it goes.

I'm pretty certain that the Worst Witch has a TV series tie in, unless I'm much mistaken. I've no doubt that many fans of the TV series will vote for it without having ever read one of the books. The answer, of course, would be to get a TV tie in of my own. Sadly that might prove a bit tricky during the remaining 28 days in November!

I think I'll start a separate thread for this, as the thing is going to last a month and will no doubt divert this thread hugely from it's intended path.

Re: Imperial Assassin Reviews

Well, as I was the person who diverted this thread onto the Blue Peter topic, I guess I ought to bring it back to its original purpose. I've just posted my review of 'Imperial Assassin' in the Reviews area here at Chronicles. If you're interested, it's at:

www.chronicles-network.com/forum/33369-imperial-assassin-mark-robson.html#post756162

The summary version: Imperial Assassin is a winner - go out and get a copy! But then, if you're reading Mark's threads here, you probably guessed that already...

Patrick.
