Re: David Gemmell coursework - I need your help!

David contacted me a few years ago , he said that he like the way i sold his books and the fact that i was an honest trader, also that i had driven up the price of his books (grin)
I got to have quite a few email / PM conversations with him, and met up at a few signings etc..
I have been working on a companion book with another fan for a year or so, (well he has done waaaayyyy more than me...but he has more time on his hands.)
But the publisher may go with an established author instead, like stan Nichols...so it may all come to nothing!..i will still have way more stuff than stan...because we even helped David organise who was who the full time line and family tree etc...

But thats all you get for now!

Very intersting bookstore there you have. Some amazing editions, where do you source them?

Also maybe it's me being my usual thick self on a couple I haven't been able to assertain whether they are hard or soft back mate??

Re: David Gemmell coursework - I need your help!

All my books are hardback, no one collects paper backs, ..well saying that if its a proof or ARC they are normally paper backs, but rare, I have managed to get a spare proof for the latest gemmell book and there are only 50 of them anywhere.
Most of the books i have collected over the years, although now i know a few authors and i sell for them, or i buy in from them and get them signed eg simon scarrow i got him to do a hand numbered limited edition of 30 books, and we applied a special stamp inside the book to make them stand out from the norm, they sold like hot cakes.
