Don't need to, I take radiation readings every time I go for a paddle here, as well

T/F Dolphins and Geiger counters make similar noises so swimming with dolphins can be quite scary for a physicist.

No, that's true enough, though a lot of it came close.

(I remember a few years ago we were all issued with "radiation pills" in defence of a terrorist attack on Sellafield. Like throwing a pill at a terrorist is gonna help.)

I hope that's true. A friend of mine, now living in America but from Dublin, was asked where he was from and said "Ireland" (of course), whereupon the questioner said, "Boy, your English is very good"
