| Destroyer of Words | Re: New Game - True or False Falso. I quit smoking and had some fabulous dreams which might be termed "nightmares". I'm thinking of taking up smoking so I can quit again. T/F Smoking tobacco is the most evil, nasty, horrible thing ever in the Universe, as all recent reformed smokers will tell you. |

| Destroyer of Words | Re: New Game - True or False I'd be very amazed and wonder why nobody mentioned it between 1947 and 1981. (seriously, not one mention till it became politically expedient) T/F All conspiracy theorists are right about everything they suggest except the motivation. |

| Re: New Game - True or False True, they've been picked. T/F: If you are traveling in a vehicle at the speed of light, then you turn on your front lights, nothing would be lit in front of you. |

| Destroyer of Words | Re: New Game - True or False Ok, let's break this down into its components: Nothing travels faster than light in three dimensions. It is presumed that Time travels at light speed, but I think it's safe to assume we're only measuring that in three dimensions as well. But there are at least two more dimensions of Time and I think it's also safe to assume that Time doesn't stand still in either of those dimensions, either, so the maximum speed available, in six dimensions, is definitely faster than mere light speed. So, if you're travelling at light speed and switch on a light, the light will spread easily in three space dimensions and be compressed in the fourth, possibly fifth and plausibly sixth. Is this represented, in any way, by luminance? Is nothing illuminated in the direction you're moving? Doesn't that really rather depend on which Time dimension that happens to be? I trust that answers your question ![]() T/F That didn't even answer my question! |

| T/F: Pickled peppers aren't pickable. If the peppers are plucked from trees they've been picked, and (of course) you can choose a pickled pepper, thus you can pick the ones you want. But it depends how you mean "pick", I selected the first aforementioned answer. And yes, good explaination on illumination during light-speed travel. ![]() T/F: I now have given the complete answer to your question before my T/F query. |
