Re: New Game - True or False

True. I thought I was being prepositioned once but it turned out I was just being put upon.

T/F There are a lot more prepositions in the English language than you might suspect.

Re: New Game - True or False

True, but he didn't meet the position before it, which he wouldn't have liked at all.

T/F Will Rogers didn't write South Pacific with Oscar Hammerstein III

Re: New Game - True or False

True, but unreliable

T/F Will Rogers isn't Roy Rogers and Bill Murray isn't really Roger Moore.

Re: New Game - True or False

True, but then Norm Nixon isn't Richard Nixon, either. By the way, that groundhog was prescient. February 2 -he predicts 6 more weeks of winer, February 6, we have a 21.1" snowstorm

T/F Groundhogs always say there will be six more weeks of winter, and there alwats are

Re: New Game - True or False

May depend on what day he says it on

T/F Not all groundhogs wait until Groundhog Day before they say anything.

Re: New Game - True or False

Possibly true, but here in Pennsylvania they said it on the 2nd, and we've been hammered twice with snowstorms with another due this evening

T/F snow storms would be more enjoyable if the automobile had not been invented

Re: New Game - True or False

Depends on whether you're taking shelter from the snow storm in your car or not, cos if you are and no one's invented the car you're trying to shelter in ....

T/F If cars had never been invented, someone would have to invent them.

Re: New Game - True or False

False. Maybe we could learn to get around in hot air balloons

T/F If everyone owned a hot air balloon for travel, the climate would be much warmer

Re: New Game - True or False

We can't win, really, can we?

T/F Hot air balloons with refridgeration units wouldn't be much better for the environment and probably wouldn't lift off, anyway.

Re: New Game - True or False

True, but if they worked, we could take sandwiches along on our trips. [Why is it impossible to starve on a desert island, A. - You can always eat the sand which is there.]

T/F Hot Air balloon racinf should be part of the olympics, but not the winter olympics.

Didn't want to kill this game!

T/F Winter olympics are better than summer olympics.

Re: New Game - True or False

False. Balloons in winter? A natural combination, as any Christmas tree will tell you

And

True. I love snow, but I hate the cold -- yet another of life's awful paradoxes.

T/F All of life's awful paradoxes (like "tasty food is bad for you and yucky food is good for you") should be abolished.

False. You just have to learn to cope.

T/F Coping is mastered with the appearance of a traumatic situation.
