| Re: New Game - True or False Such a sad T/f. False, the song is "Summertime," "Summertime and the living is easy" - just nine more months before summer is back! T/F Australia is the best place to live from September 21 to March 21. |

| Re: New Game - True or False False, Jan 1st to Dec 31st but I may be biased .True or False: There can be gain without pain. Edit: Oops that would mean you're statement was still true I suppose |

| Destroyer of Words | Re: New Game - True or False Seemingly true, unless you consider putting on weight a gain, in which case it can be quite pleasurable (at the time). T/F Gun powder is not suitable for making the barrel of your favourite gun feel soft and smooth. |

| Destroyer of Words | Re: New Game - True or False They are quite possibly several million of the most lethal weapons ever made. I'm sure an atom bomb might kill many more in one go, but since the first gun was fired in anger, I'm willing to bet that the overall death-toll is far, far greater. T/F Some guns are pretty. |

| Re: New Game - True or False True, but only if they don't look like guns. Now, some of the Star Trek phasers look like recording devices. From Chris Levi: T/F Everything happens for a reason; if you can't find a reason for something, there's a reason for that. |

| Re: New Game - True or False False. We use such sayings to console ourselves when something goes wrong. In turn we use it to philosophize our life’s circumstances and set ourselves above the lower creatures who neither have the time or luxury to ponder a willy-nilly universe. The English poet Keats said it best and set it in stone, "Here lies one whose name was writ in water." T/F... In a Boca Raton backyard a child plucks the wings from a butterfly, somewhere in Buenos Aires a man falls from a ladder. |

| Re: New Game - True or False I tend to think that the universe is all tied together, if something has a reason, then everything has areason, if one thing is without reason, then nothing has any reason. True. Probably absolutely true statements, but do they have any comnnection? Probably, if there is unity in the universe. T/F The entire universe comes from the "Big Bang." |

| Re: New Game - True or False Then I'm from the school of thinking that it all happens for no reason. I do however think that giving the events in our lives reason and believing that in the end it all evens out is a useful lie worth telling ourselves. But I think I'll always prefer shaking my fists at the sky. False. And for no particular reason other than I think the idea of a Big Bang is too neat a theory. I'd like to think mythical beasts were involved, and just perhaps, the Greek storytellers had it right all along. ![]() T/F, Earth has never been visited by aliens. |

| Re: New Game - True or False True, did you notice that everytime someone comes up with the ultimate answer - e.g the builffing blocks of the universe are "atoms" - it just gets more and more complex? T/F Someone will discover a "unified field theory" some day. |

| Destroyer of Words | Re: New Game - True or False Absolutely and it will prove that everything we can see, touch, hear and smell is interconnected - but then someone will point out that there are 22 other senses and the search will start all over again. T/F There are dimensions that extend far beyond us that we, as extrusions from all dimensions coalescing for convenience in this plane, can only faintly comprehend without a lot of carefully-directed study and exploration -- and even then, it can be tricky. |
