Re: New Game - True or False

Dogs.... they're okay. I like the ones that don't try and lick you to death, or leap on you until you're a heap on the ground. But cats are far better!

True or False: You've never built a snowman.

Re: New Game - True or False

I never would have guessed you prefered cats.

False. I have built a snowman, we actually had snow here 2 christmas' ago, and we built one in our backyard, albeit a very small one.

T or F you enjoy snowball fights

False as in the office . . . 14.51 gmt

T or F . . . there aren't enough good "heroic" fantasy writers in the Gemmel mode. (Any suggestions?)

Re: New Game - True or False

Well I will assume you think the answer is True. I myself have only read one Gemmell book, so can't really say.

T or F You don't mind waiting a long time for the next book in a series, as long as the book is worth it

Re: New Game - True or False

False. I try to avoid series if i can unless its interesting and i know i can get all the books easily. There's nothing worse than having to wait for book so and so in such and such a series(am in that position now as someone has promised to send a book but has gone awol)
T\F you find it hard to follow audiobooks

Re: New Game - True or False

True - they always have more stamina than me and get away!! I've never actually listened to an Audio, although I used to watch jackanory? Does that count?

T or F - Eye catching cover art can be more inspiring than a blurb.

Re: New Game - True or False

Very true! I have bought books on the strength of the cover art, and quite often have been hugely disappointed by the blurb.
T\F you have tried to write stories but can never finish anything. (i feel i'm giving away an awful lot about myself in this thread )

F - I would write a style befitting that which I love to read, which to be honest would end up being very similar to other authors, otherwise I wouldn't enjoy the process ha ha . . . although I would endeavour to create original characters and 100% original plot lines. I have started many a "Novel" and set the skeleton chapter by chapter for books and films!! I just don't take it any further as I feel I need more training and practice. I write for mine own pleasure.

*soaks fingers in iced water after mega waffle not beffiting this thread!*

T or F - Not enough sample work is put on Chronic by regular members.
