Worst Doctor?

All of those things alienate the viewer I think. How do you relate to someone who treats everyone around him like tools to be used? Because he is above them (or they are beneath him).

Agreed totally. Like I said I did like him and actually have had phases where I like him or dont but really he was not one of the consistently good Doctors.
And some fans think Coilin was rude to Peri!

Most of the Doctors are rude at some point.
It highlights their "otherworldliness", their lack of understanding of human behaviour, because although they look human we have it impressed upon us that they are not. Especially during Tom Baker's era.

I think after Tom changed how he did it towards the end, and Peter being such a friendly Doctor, the fans had forgotten that the Doctor was an alien. Colin was an attempt to get badk to the early days with Hartnell and Pertwee.

I never caught many of Peter's episodes but he struck me as quite approachable. Certainly likable and friendly, but perhaps a little bit of a victim because of it.

Peter's Doctor had more breakins in the Tardis, more companions arguing and more villians getting the up on him., because he was too friendly. Not wanting to think the worst until it was nearly too late.

I am sure I would not know about chicks loving that sort of thing, but the vulnearability thing went too far in the same way McCoy's all knowingness went too far.

Yes, it's okay to be vulnerable (or all knowing, or whatever) but they must learn from their mistakes or they just become annoying!

But that's half the fun in watching the show, saying : If I was the doctor...
Or in my case : If I was the Doctor's companion... (I'd have a right old sticky-beak in every drawer and cupboard in the Tardis for a start!)

Ah, If I was the Doctor's companion (being male that doesnt give me much hope) I would carry a big old gun like Captain Jack!
