Re: Snape

Personally I hope he is dead, and doesn't resurface in the last book, because it's been thrown around too much that he will. Just like last time, when everyone was expecting Dumbledore to die, I was really hoping that he wouldn't, just because it was what everyone was rumouring. I'm not blaming JK for being unoriginal, it's more likely that she creates these ideas and then finds out everyone's already guessed that will happen! But seeing as it is what everyone is expecting, for RAB to appear, I'm hoping that he won't, and rather he'll just have a posthumous part. In fact, JK might even get a little bit of admiration from me (and that would be a very big thing!) if she were to write that RAB isn't even Reg Black, but someone completely different! (even though, according to various other translations, it has already been proved that it is him...one can still hope!)

Re: Snape

Apparently that was going to be an important part in the latter books, or at least you'd find out something shocking about Lily.
Still waiting for it!

Re: Snape

Why does Snape have to be on one side or the other? he could be hanging around waiting for an outcome, or even working his own agenda. Either for himself or a 3rd party (not that i ever get invited to those sorts of things).

SNAPE IS INNOCENT!

Did you know there's an official society out there somewhere?

Re: Snape

Ah, indeed. Though I shall wait a while to see if it's worth starting one here. And what about you - do you believe he is innocent?

Re: Snape

I reverve judgement. I would like to think he's a good guy, but maybe that's going to be the twist. Nothing to do with RAB.

Re: Snape

I surely hope that is not going to be the case.
There's going to be a mob of people waiting outside my flat the next morning rubbing that fact infornt of my face - not to mention my siblings.
Sometimes, it feels like I'm the only Snape supporter out there... Most of the others live a distance away...

Re: Snape

The fact that his mark was itchy and he didn't return to the fold, when the dark lord called, I think that's swaying me. But I can't say for definite, I would like to hope you are right.
