| Two unrelated questions As they say 2 for the price of one or buy one get one free or ... enough, cut it out, you fool!! So without further adiue (fancy that) here is question one Can anybody please be so kind to share some knowledge regarding 'Novacon 36 (November 10-12th 2006) @ Birmingham's. Has any of you gone to any of the 36, please be nice and share your knowledge As for questio two Is about a book that can be clasified as a manual, whereby it lists and describe the most used and abused 'places' by authors and writers in general. It is written in a light and happy mode making somehow fun of the this facts. For example the mph that a horse can go or how many 'galons' to xx miles you can get of your favourite equine. As it always happens I did write the name down, but i put it in a safe place so i wouldn't loose it. Sounds familiar? Cheers Lirineth |

| Re: Two unrelated questions Sounds a bit like Diana Wynn-Jones' Tough Guide to Fantasyland, which suggests that the lack of a working ecology in most fantasy worlds means that horses can only breed by pollination. She also pointed out that SIEGES in fantasyland are always evaded by use of a convenient SECRET TUNNEL, although for some reason this is only revealed/used just before the walls are collapsed and not, say, three weeks earlier when help could have been raised. |
