Re: Into a Dark Realm

Sorry To all the Christians, Catholics, Anglican, Protestants or otherwise. I am not belittling your faith or "God"/"Gods", i am just merely pointing out the obvious

It'd be cool if he's Satan, as The Bible always says that "God" is the apect of GOOD in the world and beyond and "Satan" is BAD. How they know it's not the other way round. Any why should we believe the ramblings of a long dead ""Prophet"" or a book thats more fiction than Feist's works of art anyway.

Nakor is a true God/Fallen Angel wether he is or not, he will always come across as one

Re: Into a Dark Realm

Nakor has a little piece of a god in him, the same as Bek and the old crone that healed Caleb in Flight of the Nighthawks.

Re: Into a Dark Realm

I havnt got this book yet, I will buy it on my next pay day.

Even though I have been given 2 piles of brand new hard back fantasy books to read... I cannot resist!

Re: Into a Dark Realm

I would like The Upright Man to explain what he is saying more because i dont think anything he said has anything to do with what we are talking about, ive read his post through several times and from what i see he is using these boards to take a low blow at God and Christians worldwide. If i am wrong by all means correct me. I dont mean to argue points of view just why you put it in here.

Upright_Man:
Let's just remember that "Into a Dark Realm" is a piece of light entertainment and the "Bible" is a 2000 year old tenant of faith to countless millions, and leave off the attempted comparisons and merits. I'm sure Ray Feist would be horrified at your attempt to do so.
Nakor is neither Satan or God and this is not the topic or the forum to grind any religious or atheist axes.

oh and p.s. there are no "god(s)" in Catholic, Anglican or Protestant faiths. It's a monotheistic faith.
I also notice you only decided to pick out and abuse these faiths and not Shinto/Buddhism/Sikh/Hindu/Islam/Judaism and many more - cheers.

Re: Into a Dark Realm

i respect his beleif system but as Sorrow said this isnt a place to grind faiths and compare them to fantasy novels. And you wont be liable to be arrested if you are against all religions. You probably would be persecuted but not prosecuted. Im not mad at your beleifs its just that many times people decide to go after the bible when there are countless other faiths. It just shows the awesome power of Christianity and how much people fear it that they feel they must take these actions.

How is into a dark realm? i havent read it yet.

Catholics, Anglians and Protestants are surprisingly not just white people you know, so you probably offended all the chinese catholics, kenyan protestants and burmese anglians. Oh and I stand corrected - agnostic axes then.

However, this has nothing to do with Into a Dark Realm so I hope people redirect their comments back to the book and less about personal faith or beliefs.
