Wow, bracket one is a ball-buster.

Is there a tie breaker format setup?...lets decide ahead of time.

I vote Wiggum gets the tie break vote as he is doing the heavy lifting.

Re: Storm of Swords Tournament base of operations

That'll be the easiest way.

Although not having thought about that before this round, if we get a tie with one of these two we'll have to figure something else out.

But if Wiggum would have voted as normal then it wouldn't have even been a tie.

Re: Storm of Swords Tournament base of operations

Usually the chair person would abstain from voting unless a tie were to take place, but I think in this case lets just say Da Wiggs counts as two in case of a tie....really its not that big of an issue...I just like structure, and rules....otherwise the universe would explode...really it would, wheres my taffy?

Actually I think bracket 3 is the "Group of Death"

I can't believe Barristan Selmy ended up with the Mountain first off. If he wins this thing he'll not have a harder contest.

And I can't believe Ned got Randyll Tarly...it's the Red Wedding all over again

Re: Storm of Swords Tournament base of operations

I have no issue abstaining, it'll be the easiest way to resolve a tie.

I may not vote but my voice WILL be heard

Greatsword on greatsword, Ice versus Heartsbane... I'd pay to see that. Sadly, as much as I love Ned, I think Tarly would win. He is more of a warror. Ned would never have anything to do with a contest like this.

Is it too late for a switch?

How about switching Stannis for Jorah Mormont?

Probably not a bad idea, if I remember it when I get to Stannis' round.

Next matches are up, Jamie and Bronn have moved to the next round.

Re: Storm of Swords Tournament base of operations

A quick question Wiggum, have you decided which brackets take on which in the second round?

Re: Storm of Swords Tournament base of operations

No.

I don't want to loose a strong competitor simply because they were placed in an unfortunate bracket.

I'll recombine brackets into two after this round, but I don't want to commit to which ones. I'd like to get an idea about balance before I decide.

The eight that are left after that will be combined into another two brackets of four competitors each for the quarters.
