Being the final volume of The Green Lion Trilogy. Teresa, I'm not surprised that you claim to have enough material for twelve books set in this realm. The depth of your creations never cease to amaze me. I thoroughly enjoyed the final part of this trilogy and am at a loss to understand why this series was not more popular when it was released. As always, your writing is descriptive without losing the pace of the story, and the settings come to life with full sensory exploration of each scene. I'm most jealous of your skills as a wordsmith!

Without giving too much away to those who've not read this, I confess I was a little surprised by the structure of this story. My expectation all along was that the climax of the trilogy would come with a final confrontation between Teleri and Diaspad, yet this happened with a full third of the book still to go. I expect that's my thirst for action/adventure coming to the fore, though, for the ultimate resolution between Ceilyn and Teleri was a satisfying conclusion. For me the final section was a little protracted, but I shouldn't take too much by that, as I felt that Tolkien should have finished Lord of the Rings with the ring being destroyed, and there are many whose favourite part of the trilogy is the aftermath and the scouring of the Shire. Ho, hum!

For anyone reading this post who has not read The Green Lion trilogy - start searching ebay and amazon marketplace now to see if you can pick up a set. You won't be disappointed - it's a great read.

I think you'll find this a more 'meaty' read than Eddings. Teresa worldbuilds on a scale that Eddings could only ever wish to aspire to. Her characters are far more subtle and believeable, and her diction is far superior. In fact, whilst Eddings is great for a fun, light read, there is little comparison between his work and Teresa's. I hope you do try out her work, I think you'll be impressed.
