Does anyone have any information about when a collection of Jacek Dakaj's short stories might be available in an English translation? Thanks.

I assume you mean Jacek Dukaj? Hard SF writer.

Michael Kandel has translated the story The Iron General and parts of the 2003 short animation film The Cathedral based on the story of same name. Golden Galley has also been translated into English.

Sadly translastions are very hard to come by with publication currently ceased on those pieces mentioned above but some online extracts do exist:

Thanks for the info. I read on Wikipedia that author and linguist Michael Kandel is in the process of translating some of the short stories, but I haven't been able to find his homepage. I would really like to hear about it if someone knows.
