Re: Wheel of Time

I've read all 11 books, and re-read the first 7. I plan on attempting to re-read all 11 by the time the 12th book comes out (I do mean all 11, going to start w/ book 1).

Re: Wheel of Time

How ambitious... Well, good luck then, because I really can't do it... I'm looking forward to the end of the series and in the next (at least) one year I won't be able to re-read anything...

Re: Wheel of Time

I'm also going to read them one more time. It would be my third time I read the series...

Re: Wheel of Time

I'm currently rereading through the series. By the time the next one comes out, I should just about be finished! (In between everything else on my ever-increasing to-be-read pile)

Thats how I feel. I was disappointed with book ten and was not sure about reading 11 when it came out....but finally I did. It seemed to have bounced back a little.

Re: Wheel of Time

The first three I think were written to stand alone as a trilogy. he shoulda stopped there. havng said that I'm smeone who has read all of the 11 several times and enjoyed parts of all of them, they're good as sleeping tablets at times.

Re: Wheel of Time

I really disliked Book 11, I thought it was even worse than ten. Nine is saved by the end, but eight is where things really started going wrong...

And why are 8, 9, 10 and 11 only two thirds the length of the first seven? It's incongruous, and none of them feel complete (except perhaps nine). In Book 10 only a fortnight or something passes in the story...!

Once upon a time I absolutely adored this series, for all its flaws, but I feel really let down. For better or worse, it's become a part of me now, though...
