| The Seven Letter Word Game This game has been going great guns on a couple of other message boards I contribute to, and I thought you guys might like it: Rules of The Seven Letter Word Game We start out with a seven letter long word and use the following rules in order to come up with another word: - Change up to three letters - Remaining letters must be kept in their original positions. - If two people post a response to the same word, the next poster may choose which to reply to. - If a word is disputed, it will be deemed valid if a google search on that word returns at least 10,000 pages. (just kidding) But poster must give proof of validity if the word is disputed. - Proper nouns are considered to be valid. - If a word is found to be invalid, the next poster has the option of continuing with the invalid word, or using the last valid word. Oh, and these have to be already existing words, we're not trying to invent new words to add to the cultural lexicon. ******************** So, let's start the game out with the word - Fantasy |

| Re: The Seven Letter Word Game It can be any three letters of the word, as long as the letters not being changed remain in their original position within the new word. Fallacy works just fine. My next word submission - Gallery. |
