Terrahawks...

Is there anyone else who liked this as much as me?...Now I don't pretend to remember each and every episode, but I always watched it back in th'day...I just wonder why this isn't talked about as much as some others which seem to hold the heart more...

Flaming Tunderbolts...Seargent Major...101...Moid...Sram...Oh ho-ho...Yes...

I remmeber terrahawks but don't really remmeber much about it, most memorable thing about it was the game of noughts and crosses(tic tac toe)at the end of each episode

Re: Terrahawks...

Let's face it it was a quick cheap show and lacked the class of its bigger, older brothers.

Re: Terrahawks...

I remember being quite scared and freaked out by the evil woman who controlled the cubes. She traumatised me about old people for years!

Re: Terrahawks...

She reminded me of my Nan for some reason...

I thought Windsor Davies was class...I mean c'mon "Dicks Hewitt"...How is that not classy :-D ...

I thought the Air/Space Craft were a huge imrovement on the other series'...The advance of time and the Star Wars age I suppose...

I thought the Theme was cool...I must borrow my brother's DVDs :-) ...

Yep, me! I watched it when it was first broadcast, but like a lot of people I was a little disappointed as it wasn't quite as good as, say, Space:1999 or Scarlet. Having just bought the boxset and watched them all again, I'd definitely recommend it. It starts off a little straight laced but there's a good sense of humour running through the later episodes - this makes up for the smaller budget and 16mm film. Windsor Davies cracks me up!

Re: Terrahawks...

We are going back a bit! I remmber the show as a child, but really only Sram lord of Mars sticks in my mind and his thunder roar. I sort of remmber that Ninestein was a clone and they had to replace him once as he got killed.

Is it out on DVD?

Re: Terrahawks...

Wow, this takes me back! I remember watching Terrahawks on a Saturday lunchtime when I was small. I never used to miss an episode. Just did a quick search, and it seems it is out on dvd.

You should be able to get it fairly cheaply too.
