| Could somebody spoil 'The Younger Gods'? What happened in 'The Younger Gods'? I haven't read the 2nd or 3rd books as I found the 1st one extremely poor. I have heard that the conclusion to this one is even worse and I'm curious. What exactly happens. I'm not planning to read it so as much detail as you are willing to give the better. Thanks. |

I think I stopped reading the first book just as they had fortuitously discovered the stairs that had been hidden to let the enemy attack by surprise and then of course came up with a plan to massacre them while standing around eating sandwiches or something. By this point I was long past the point of being interested in characters for whom nothing ever goes wrong and enemies that never displayed any intelligence. |
