Oh, this movie is definitely a "girl movie" Not one of those sappy, someone dies of something icky with a two hour long death scene, either!
What else can you call a movie that has two men, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan, with such Gorgeous Voices talking together? Sent goosepimples up and down my spine!
Then, there was Wolverine. I went to see this movie with a married couple who are friends of mine. She knew next to nothing of the X-Men, but when Wolvie first popped his claws, and that slither of metal sound...oooo. Visceral. Right to my toes. She gave her hubby a Look
Seriously made me wish I had a hubby, too!
The women were strong and could hold their own, required only their fair share of saving, kicked butt at the appropriate times (okay, Storm's dialogue was a little lame, but this is not a perfect world).
I just love watching and rewatching this movie
