Only good point is that we can hit milestones that we've passed already and celebrate again I'm about to break through the 500 barrier for the second time

which might go a ways to explaining some of the odd threads that probably showed up down in the General Discussions area. Things about a creche and alien names, etc.

They also were a way of marking those posting 'milestones'. The only thing was, we couldn't figure out what was going to happen past 10 alien heads - which was the marker for 10K posts. Granted, no one ever got close enough to 20K for it to matter.

There are a number of games threads being moved to the Playrooms from other boards. I would suspect this is the source of any loss of post counts as the Playrooms area doesn't count towards post count totals.

It is a bit weird, though, as I'm not actually aware of post counts being recalculated after the threads move - I would have thought any games posts would remain counted until I manually reset the tallies.
