Season 3 starting Oct. 6 in U.S. - Science Fiction Fantasy Chronicles: forums

I can't tell what episodes have aired in various spots around the globe, and I don't want to spoil things for people, so if you haven't seen the entirety of season 2 (by U.S. reckoning), don't read on.

***SPOILERS***

I was listening to the showrunner Ronald Moore's podcast for the season 2 finale, and I heard him say something that implied that Olmos wouldn't be in many episodes because Admiral Adama would be flying off somewhere. Maybe Moore was just making a joke and I didn't get it. Has anyone heard anything about this?

I'm looking forward to seeing how the characters deal with being cheek-to-jowl with their new "protectors" on that sorry excuse for a planet. And whether Apollo is going to lose all that weight he gained.

What are your thoughts, hopes, predictions for the coming season?

you could see as the series was going on that bamber got himself a killer personal trainer. ha ha ha!

i want to see helo knock him out though.

The in-character press photos for season 3 suggest Apollo is down to his fighting weight again. The also have Helo in them, which suggests he's a fully fledged main character now (a well deserved promotion).

I haven't heard anything about Adama's role being reduced though.

I'm really looking forward to a few episodes on the occupied colony.

While I find Tigh to be a reasonably competant XO (backing up Adama) he's been pretty useless at leading, but I get the feeling that when he's backed into a corner and deprived of Booze, we might get to see a different side of him. I'd love to see him and Starbuck teaming up to lead the Resistance and things getting pretty desperate before the calvalry shows up.

I'm with you, Ash: seeing Tigh step up and work with Starbuck would be excellent!

Poking around the official website, I noticed that the video about Jamie in the fat suit is identified as "Season 3." I hope the press photos you mention are more accurately predictive than the video.

I'm curious as to why I have not seen Starbuck in any of the commercials? They've shown everyone but Starbuck and Apollo.
