Your funny. And the edit button disappears after you post until you have so many posts I don't know how many or after like half an hour. I don't really know. I'm a moderator, I should know these things, but running the universe is taxing on my memory.

But, this episode was horridly confusing.

PS: Since torchwood hasn't started for me yet, I keep chanting "DO not click on the torchwood threads....." lol

I have a high tolerance for sarcasm and a very low tolerance for idiocy, so far you are tolerated

No hard feelings were taken.

I once ate a king and queen. Ok well I was like 3 and it was my dads chess set and they were made out of wood.

My review = Yuck.
Agreed. Initially, I found it interesting that the episode actually obeyed the laws of relativity when the Doctor returns to the fireplace, only to find that Madame du Pompadour has grown into a lovely young lady. But those killer androids were just a bit too cheesy for me, they just weren't threatening enough and the story was way too soap opera-like for this show. The only highlights was the possibility that the Doctor would have remained in that house with the princess and Rose looking so hot! She has never looked so great since the episode, "New Earth". Yummy!

Re: 28.04: The Girl in the Fireplace

I really didn't like this one; mostly becasue I'm finding the all-new, touchy-feely Doctor a bit hard to bear. He's sooooo hug a tree fluffy! and what about paradox's and the like? SURELY all of the fireplace/mirror hopping would have altered the original timeline, and changed history in a big way? or am I just too tired and too picky?

I did love the horse though *sigh* and look forward to seeing him reprise his role in a future episode!

In a way we DID see the effects of timeline changing - in this case the observed person became aware of, even attracted to, the observer...
