Re: Future Buffy TV and Film

I had an idea that maybe Buffy and Giles should start a school for the training of slayers and watchers, with the help of Faith, Willow etc:

What do you think?

You know Steffi, personally, I think that's the best idea I've heard for a Buffy spin-off.

Not sure the stars would be willing to take Buffy back on full time though!

As long as Kennedy doesn't feature, I'll be happy!

xx

Re: Future Buffy TV and Film

Thank you!....*blushes modestly*

It has lots of possiblities....Buffy wouldn't have to be there all the time....off doing her own thing or field trips with the slayers...still lots of fighting to do....Faith could be more involved with the school...
Willow...with the witch thing
Giles running the watcher side
Spike coming in to teach the slayers to fight vampires.

The list goes on...

Oh and maybe Kennedy will be far away at a hell mouth in Tasmania

Re: Future Buffy TV and Film

Thank you Carrie

The school would be in England and the funds would come from all the investments the watchers council had made.

Principal Wood would do the day to day running (that's why Faith would stay) leaving Giles to run the watchers school and Buffy to run the slayers school.

The more experienced slayers will be off to guard the various hellmouths.

Anyone have any ideas to add to this? we could come up with some great ideas

They could always do a show that's more focused from the Watchers' POV, instead of the Slayers - rebuilding the Watchers' Council and such... only, you know, without the massive amounts of arrogance and snobbery.

Re: Future Buffy TV and Film

After seeing some recent photos of James Martsers -- I want Joss to make a whole new show on about a NEW character that uses what James looks like now. b/c seriously ? lots of hot --- no really -- more hot that before.

Yes - that's shallow and superficial, but I like having pretty things to look at on TV.

btw --- *waves* to Asmiley! was just saying that I hadn't seen you in a while.... but I see you found us!

Well, in the final season, they did end up with a legion of slayers-in-training.
So there ARE potential storylines floating around, awaiting development.

Also, the First Evil was not destroyed. Only its demonic hordes.

More Buffy is always a good thing. No denying that. A spinoff show would be very cool. Maybe focusing on one of the new Slayers?

Re: Future Buffy TV and Film

If anyones read "Queen of the Slayers" that also has a school for slayers that buffys running so there's definately a few people out there with the same idea. Personally I'd love to see more buffy on the tv, reading the books shows you that there are still places that the tv show didn't go. They'd have to be careful that they did it well and didn't ruin the good memories of the old series though.
