| I think I'd go for Goa'uld... The wraith are extremely numerous but in reasonable numbers were destroyed by the Ancients. In sufficiently small numbers even ballistically armed humans can kill them, eventually. However, basically all they do is hunt for food: little more than subsistence farming. The Goa'uld are political, scavenging, enslaving and will make opportunity to grab people, property and planets whenever they can. We have seen massive, layered plans within plans, strategies, alliances and feuds. (But we've only seen one series of wraith.) If you want scary, how about a Goa'uld in a wraith host.... |

| It may depend in part on which is most likely to "cut a deal." At first the Goa'uld would never sink to the level of agreements, etc. Now they are banging on the Iris begging to be let in. Lord Yu (before senility caught up with him) had proved to be amenable to making some deals. So have Ba'al and Camulus. The Wraith -- so far not interested in deals -- just a steady diet. I'd have to go with the Wraith as being the bigger problem because they don't have a political agenda to play on. webmouse |
