Subject: Southeast Scapers and FarOps Offer Wristbands

After much debate and by popular demand, FarOps and the Southeast Scapers would like to announce, in a joint project, that we are offering wristbands to Farscape fans everywhere. This is a fundraising project for FarOps and the Southeast Scapers.

The Southeast Scapers are hosting a fan table and other fun projects at the south’s largest scifi convention, DragonCon in which two Farscape cast members have already been announced.

At DragonCon, the Southeast Scapers hope to use the funds to help run our fan table, assist in funding our con room, and help purchase materials for SWAG, which includes educating others about Farscape’s syndication. We are also planning a birthday party for Little D’, as you know is birthday is October 18. We are planning a large birthday cake, which we will have available at our fan table on Saturday, the high traffic day for DragonCon. The FarOps project is Toronto Trek, in which Bandana Girl is running the event herself and will use the funds to run the table and offer SWAG.

We have chosen red as the color and stuck with a popular saying, made famous by T-shirts and buttons. Yes, the wristbands will read “Irreversibly Contaminated” and the lettering will be debossed. These bracelets are similar to the “Live Strong” bracelets seen around the country.

We plan to order 1,000 total wristbands. We are offering a set of five bands for $12.50 plus $2 shipping and handling for US orders and $3 for international orders. If you are concerned about the bulk order, then just get together a group of Scaper friends and place an order together. We are doing bulk orders to help ease the shipping cost. Those interested in orders for cons can contact us directly.

The total cost is $830 for the order. When we reach this goal we will place the order. It will take around three or four weeks for the wristbands to be processed, so we would love to have the order complete by July 15.
