Site Down or sticky site?

Well is it just me or is the site completely down. Well I know it's not just me. Cause Dr.Sammie can't get in either.

Maybe it's the rain. Or the big Giant Aliens..:alienooh:

Allan, Geekman and the team put in countless hours of their own time to bring Ausgate, free, to their users... I'm sure they are aware of the problems, which are usually different each time, and are sorting them out.

Yes the PTB have done a good job of making a wonderful site for us to enjoy as part of the Stargate experience.

But it still is very frustrating when you can't get in. Withdrawls can be soooooo painful

Over 24 hours now and still no word from the powers that be. Or is it that the people who hear from the powers that be haven't passed on the word to us little folks.

Ok..well in real life I am not very little..LOL But....that's a whole nother ball of wax.

So anyway. Anyone heard anything yet?:aliengray

Geekman posted this last night:-

Hello everyone,
Sorry for the delay, I was on the road. Ausgate is down right now to what appears to be a Hardware problem. I have someone checking on iot right now and if they can not get the issue addressed, I will go downtown tomorrow. There are a few things being tried right now. The server is powering up..but not posting. So, it may either be one or both of the CPU's, RAM and or the Motherboard. I will be taking all of these with me. I have a duplicate motherboard with me now and if that is all it is, It will boot right up. Worse case scenario is that I have another server ready to go that I can sway out. But, we will have to what foe Allan to get back online to restore the site. He just moved and he was still waiting for his DSL line to be installed. I will post another update tomorrow. I apologize for the inconvience, I was hoping to get another month or two out of the server before replacing it.

Dan
