| Wherever I Am, I'm There | The Riddler in the 1960's TV series, Frank Gorshin, died May 17 at the age of 72. He also voiced the 2004 animated 'The Batman' TV series. He was Dr. Fletcher in 'Twelve Monkeys', and played the part of Bele in 'Star Trek - Let That Be Your Last Battlefield'. | Re: Frank Gorshin dies Agreed... he brought some layering to the character, that manic phase followed by an almost world-weary depressive phase; occasional bursts of near-sanity with sheer murderous psychosis with a grin.... He's the only one I can think of that actually made the Riddler feel menacing to me, made him three-dimensional. It's a pity he's gone. |
