Ur opinion of REvenge of the Sith? **SPOILERS** ok so the movie has been out for a day, have u seen it yet? if so why not? well ok i have seen it and liked it a lot, it was better then the last two movies, but it still had some problems, first off lucas didnt kill Jar Jar, and he still cant do a romantic scene for the life of him. but that was all forgotten with the insane amounts of awesome lightasber combat and just generally great special effects.:rolly2:

There are about seven more arms lost... Anakin loses two, General Grevious loses two, Count Dooku loses one, Mace Windu loses one, Kit Fisto loses one... did I miss one? I like the part when Yoda walks in to meet Palpatine and throws the Emperor's two guards back against the wall. I like the lizard dragon thing that Obi Wan rides.

Very good. The time past very quickly with all the action. Certainly better than Eps I & II. Not sure if it's better than V & VI. For special effects and action it surpases them easily. For story it gives them a good run. But there has to be too much packed into those last ten minutes to explain everything that is to happen later. It's too rushed. The Emperor is revealed to have forseen and engineered everything including the Clone Wars. One has to wonder why he doesn't forsee that Anakin will eventually turn on him. Actually, one wonders why Sith ever take on Apprentices, since they are always going to step into their shoes eventually. I'm assuming that the Emperor's story to Anakin was about his own Master. It was good to see the Jedi at the height of their lightsabre prowess fighting in battles. That is the reason Lucas gives for the difference in swordsmanship between the old and new trilogies -- in the old trilogy, Luke is untrained, Obi-Wan is an old man, Yoda about to die, and Darth Vader is more machine than man. In the new trilogy the Jedi are a fighting force trained from birth, at their prime, and honed by Clone War battles.

though it was less obvious in this movie compared to the last two the actors lines still needed some work.:rolly2: | |

true captraincarter, yoda couldnt kill him, but that doesnt mean he couldnt have kicked his but near to death and then left him for dead, just like obi wan did for anakin, and then mabye he would have had to run from like some clone troopers or something, but he just ran away like a big wuss (sorry yoda):rolly2:

Excuse me as I've only seen it the once, but I thought he did use 'Forced Lightning' on Yoda, but maybe not. If he did it was only the once, that fight was more about throwing people against walls, and you are right that Windu was reflecting it back, the same way that Vader does in RotJ. Yoda never did that. If that is the case, why didn't he use it -- is he afraid of using it again? Because that is interesting in itself. The 'Forced Lightning' obviously isn't such a great power as it is made out.

hey dave ur kinda right, first off yes yoda can deflect the force lightning, but as far as we know if u dont have a lightsaber they yoda is the only one who can do that. as for why palpatine didnt get worse during his fight with palpatine, its simple, Windu was directing it back at him, yoda was just holding it back and didnt have a chance to deflect it, and when he finally forced it back on palpatine, they were so close together that they both got flung back. ok does that help you?:rolly2:

I saw Revenge of the Sith on June 9th with Asmiley, and we both liked it a lot. Unlike her, though, I believed that George Lucas provided enough evidence to effectively convince moviegoers that Anakin could so "quickly" ally himself with Palpatine. After all, Lucas had been building that evidence since Episode II, and weaved some more into the Clone Wars cartoon miniseries. My favorite battle in the film was between Obi-Wan Kenobi and General Grievous, since both seemed very formidable and Grievous died in a very spectacular way. Palpatine's story about his master effectively intrigued me and creeped me out at the same time, and the backdrop of the goldfish (?) looked very cool. The final battle between Obi-Wan and Anakin was both spectacular and believable to me, but I did feel that the ending was rushed. I was also a bit disappointed that the Wookies didn't have as much screen time as I had hoped, but it was still nice to see them in battle. Still, I was pleasantly surprised that the movie ended with the particular shot that it did, even though I thought that another character would be in that shot (hint: it's on Tatooine).
