Thumbs up

Episode 4 is name Duet not Aurora I think.
This episode was awesome, all the thing with Mckay and Lt. Cadman was great. The therapy sessions was just hilarious and seen Lt. Cadman take controls over Mckay was just fun.

Also love Ronon's introduction to Atlantis, I just love when Weir try to talk to him that was just fun to watch.

Definitely a fun episode.

Corrected the title.

Most definitely a let's have a little fun episode. Also excellent proof that chaps are by no means alone when all at sea in our relationships with the fair sex.

Parrallel Ronon is going to be a direct parrallel with Tyr in Andromeda though. Strong, pig thick, pig ugly. Hope they put something more into his character before too many weeks pass.

I missed the first half of this episode, so I didn't understand how they got combined together, but it was a fun second half.

I normally don't find McKay that funny, but he was excellent in this and I think he has grown on me.

I wonder if McKay and Carson's relationships will develop more quickly now.

As for Ronon, I haven't seen much 'Andromeda' but I agree that if they don't put more into the character he is quickly going to become boring. Being the last of his race makes that more difficult though. They can't find an old girlfriend/ enemy/ mentor/ parents/ lost son.

Another "star Trek" plot rehash, we even had the shared minds plot in Sg1 Season 7.

It doesnt matter how they put a new spin on it, the start the middle and teh end are so predictable.

Yes we had a little fun at McKays expense but what a waste of 40 minutes.

As for Ronan... YAWN!!!!!

Tyr-Ronan-Teal'c - Everybody needs somebody with a bit of muscle between the ears.

Giving the muscle character character, well not a lot of success to fall back on- All Teal'c manged was to grow hair!

Perhaps they'll do the same with Ronan and turn him into a slap head?

I think of the three characters, Teal'c has progress a lot more. I think he's not a muscle character only now, he have done many things that have show him more as a person etc. Well, that my personal opinion. To grow hair was the only strange part. Tyr never have the opportunity to grow more since he ended being the bad boy of Andromeda at the end. Let's hope Ronon have more opportunities like Teal'c.

Woah, i really liked this episode.

Firstly David Hewlett is incredibly talented - he played Cadman so differently to McKay from her vocalisation to her mannerisms, I could believe she was a different person and not an actor playing two characters.

Zelenka's first time off world (where was he during The Storm?) was adorably cute - i love that they remember most of these characters are scientists and not trained military.

McKay's attempts at flirting were ROTFLMAO, but we knew that from before.

Yes, Ronon is the 'muscle character' but he still made me laugh - especially whilst eating and when Sheppard tried to 'teach' him about the guns. I think the reason Tyr didn't work was cos Andromeda has other 'tough' characters too so that spot's been taken. Teal'c worked cos SG1 don't - Jack may have been the military leader but he wans't ever 'muscle' and the same goes for Sheppard so I think Ronon could fit. Plus i think his relationship with Teyla could be interesting - both of them 'alien' to the rest of the Atlantis expedition, he's the last of his people, she's rarely in contact with hers and they both like playing with sticks. I still prefere Ford though.

I loved this episode, it was so funny.

It is always good to have a bit of fun with the characters.

As for Ronon, I think he'll fit in fine. A nice wee addition to the team!
