DVD Box sets vs single DVDs - Science Fiction Fantasy Chronicles: forums

does anyone know whether the DVDs in the box sets are exactly the same as the ones you get if you buy individually?

You've not said where you are...

In the UK this seems to be true for series other than one, which of course was never available singly. The boxsets simply contain the relevant single discs, in a box. I believe they even still have their "single" numbers on them.

by the way, when do you expect them to release the season 8 box set? i know they havent even finished showing iton tv yet but just wondering

and do you think itd be better to wait an extra few months for the box sets? or should i just purchase the DVDs individually earlier?

The first S8 individual DVDs are due out in about a week... and then follow monthly. I haven't been looking for a boxset date though. Probably at the end.
