First, how old is the actor? I've been debating how old Sheppard is and tried searching the actor's bio to help me. But nothing. IMDB is no help. Unless I am hallucinating (always a possibiliy!) it only lists the place of birth but not actual date. I can't find the info anywhere else either!

Second, Sheppard.
Do we ever find out how old he is? I've only watched up to 'Home' so I don't know if they tell us his age after that. If they don't spell it out for us, I suppose we could make an educated guess based on his rank... except I am not informed enough about USAF ranks, promotions etc.

We know Ford is 25 (Childhood's End) and he is a Leutanent and Sheppard is a Major. However on top of that we know his record is not really that impressive militarily speaking since he disobeyed a direct order (to save lives of three soldiers!). So that might make the rise along the ranks a bit more difficult/slow.

So... the question is...

How old are they??? More importantly, how old is Sheppard?

I posted this question to another comm. and found out;

- www.gateworld.net's biogs give Sheppard's age as between 35-40

- Joe Flanigan's birthday is 5th Jan 1967.

He looks a lot younger than he looks!
